What bars/restaurants can we watch UFC 107 in MD/DC/VA area?

Why go out to the bar to watch this? The bars that show the UFC fights get way too crowded with too many drunken people with no manners. The last UFC fight I went to see at a bar, I missed about half of it from the distractions around me.

I'm just staying in and watching it on my computer over on http://watchmmafree.com

  • Washington DC Downtown waterfront?

I am going to DC in a few week and was wonder does any one know where downtown DC waterfront is located? I been there many years ago but don't remember the address. I remember walking down a long street with shops and restaurant and ending up by the water. There were boats at the small dock and street performers. Any info is helpful. Thanks!Washington DC Downtown waterfront?
Could also be Georgetown.Washington DC Downtown waterfront?
You're thinking of Maine Avenue, Southwest. It's located more or less behind L'Enfant Plaza, and walking distance from the National Mall. There are several restaurants, including a Phillips Seafood, a live fish market, a marina, and at the end of the row is Arena Stage. I've never seen street performers there myself, but it's the type of place you could indeed see them.

    UPDATE

I agree with Jessica--the description could also apply to Georgetown, particularly Washington Harbor along the Potomac. If this video shows the place you're thinking of, it's indeed Washington Harbor.

DC place with Good food, Great Atmosphere?

I wanna have a birthday outing soon and was wondering where in DC to go?? im thinking an eatery/ restaurant with great music and a cool atmosphere. I would even go for a super fancy restaurant, but the point is I want good food and a great atmosphere which is great for a group. Where to?!DC place with Good food, Great Atmosphere?
There are a bunch of restaurants by the Penn Quarter area (around the Verizon Center). I would reccomend Zengo, Zatyina, Cafe Atlantico, Rosa Mexicana, or Matchbox. I have always been partial to Matchbox.DC place with Good food, Great Atmosphere?
There are two Indian restaurants with yummy food and good atmosphere. We ate at both, so either is good!

I'm going to Washington DC for the weekend. Any suggestions for must see places and places to eat?

I have already been there once before and saw all the monuments and museums...I'm looking for different places to go/see/eat.

    For example:

    Restaurants

    Bars

    Clubs

little know treasures :)I'm going to Washington DC for the weekend. Any suggestions for must see places and places to eat?
Georgetown/M St is one area, but not handy by public transit. The U st area (on the green line) is on the younger side, more trendy and cheaper than the Georgetown area. Plenty of good spots.

Also as far as restaurants. If you're looking for something a little nice try Art %26amp; Soul, Art used to be Oprah's personal chef and he has appeared on Top Chef as a guest judge a few times. It's elegant homey food if that makes sense. If you like Italian and you do go to Georgetown try Filomena's.
Georgetown has great restaurants and bars. try Wisemiller's on 36th street for lunch. Then go to M street for shopping, bars, and lots of restaurants. Rhino's and Third Edition are good bars.I'm going to Washington DC for the weekend. Any suggestions for must see places and places to eat?

Check out a place called 'Prince Cafe'. There are 2 locations in the Georgetown neighborhood of DC - one on Prospect St. next to Morton's/Cafe Milano and another on Wisconsin Ave between M %26amp; K St next to the Thai embassy. They are quite popular, especially later in the evening. What is the best Hookah/Shisha place in DC?
