We are visiting DC in April, and are on a very tight budget. I'm wondering what are the cheapest ($5-9 per person) places to eat that won't require a lot of walking from the main attractions %26amp; monuments.
I don't care if it's McDonalds, Chipotle, Subway, etc. Just trying to plan some cheap places to eat without having to walk forever. What are the cheapest, most convenient restaurants in the Washington DC area?
They have quite a few hot dog/pizza/pretzel stands near the monuments, but as far as restaurants there is a Subway but its a little ways away, and theres the wharf that sells seafood (but they arent that cheap)...Youre best option would be to get on the metro and go to Chinatown Gallery Place where there are tons of cheap restaurants and carryouts.
Right when you exit The Mall, there is a JW Marriot. Walk past it and there will be a corner bakery, it is a 5-10 minute depending on how fast you're walk is and right across the street is a Potbelly's Sandwich Shop. Either way you can't go wrongWhat are the cheapest, most convenient restaurants in the Washington DC area?
