There are fast food restaurants in the airport, including at least one Five Guys (if that is your thing) in the US Airways terminal. They do not cost any more than fast food restaurants outside of the airport.
You can also pop by the food court at Pentagon City or in the Mall at Crystal City if you like, especially if you are on the Metro. There is not much right outside DCA, as it is on the G.W. I agree with the previous response. There is nothing in reasonable walking distance of the airport. If you are set on eating outside the airport, get on the Metro for three minutes and get off at Pentagon City--there's a large food court in the mall.
Of course, the cost of the Metro will offset any food savings....
