What is the best (and affordable!) Ethiopian restaurant in Washington DC?

Being near the capital building, which is where we're staying (NJ Ave specifically), would also be a plus, but I'm assuming we wouldn't be that lucky!

Thanks! What is the best (and affordable!) Ethiopian restaurant in Washington DC?
As mentioned above, most of the Ethiopian restaurants in the District are located along the U Street corridor and in the Adams Morgan neighborhood (U Street/Cardozo Metro station - Green/Yellow lines - transfer at Gallery Place/Chinatown station off Red line from Union Station). When I first moved to DC there was a fast-food Ethiopian place near Eastern Market, now long gone and our long-time favorite, Red Sea in Adams Morgan, has also closed.

Personally, our current favorites include Dukem (1114 - 1118 U Street NW), Etete (1942 9th Street NW) and Lalibela (1415 14th Street NW). Lalibela is probably the least expensive of these.

(NOTE: Prepared food in the District carries a 10% sales tax, so remember to figure that into your dining budget.)

We also enjoy Addis Abiba at 8233 Fenton, Silver Spring, Maryland (a short walk from the Silver Spring Metro station - Red line from Union Station).
Dukem is the one I always hear about. I have been to none but have included some links. What is the best (and affordable!) Ethiopian restaurant in Washington DC?
The only Ethiopian I've really eaten at is Meskerem in Adams Morgan. But there are several Ethiopian places in the U Street corridor. Sadly, I don't know of any near Capitol Hill.
