Yes for under $120 and no alcohol - absolutely - also consider venturing a bit outside of DC, like Old Town, Alexandria.



DC - Spezie - L Street, NW - nice with Italian food

My favorite - Vidalia - M Street, NW

Dish - Foggy Bottom area (around I and K) and they do a mon-fri 5-7 pre theaterdinner fixed price for $35 a person

Georgetown - Cafe Milano



Old Town - Bilbo Baggins

I love the Overwood on Lee Street (used to be Ecco)

Stardust - off the beaten path a good bit but good food and romantic

Del Ray area - Evening Star Cafe



It is Restaurant Week from 1/11 - 1/17 and you can get great 3 course meals for the set price of $30 to $40 dollars.

sorry i can't help with which ones would be romantic...but i'm sure something which has more '$' next to it and is of european flavour would be fine.

but i suggest going for a place where the food is the biggest draw card, rather than a 'romantic atmosphere'

although! i will say, that New Heights (near the woodley park metro) is relatively small and quite fancy and the food is delicious!

anyway, just try and get to one of these places before restaurant week is over, cause then who knows how much it could set you back (although, i would always opt for the sharing of an appetizer, 1 entree each and then heading to somewhere like froyo to get frozen yoghurt for dessert)Can someone recommend a nice romantic restaurant in DC where two could have a 3-course meal for under $120?
