Cool restaurant/bars in Georgetown DC?

I'm looking for a place to have dinner for my bday in Georgetown thats got a really cool atmosphere and good food at a decent price (entrees around 25 bucks or less). I want a pretty place like Mie N Yu with the purples everywhere (but their food is kinda weird and expensive). I'm looking for like a cool lounge or something where we can stay and hang out for drinks after dinnerCool restaurant/bars in Georgetown DC?
Take a look through these and see if you find anything to your liking: http://www.georgetowndc.com/dining_list.鈥?/a>

You might like Posh: http://www.poshdc.com/ but most folks find it a bit overpriced for the quality of the food... the decor is... interesting though and partially purple - lol

My personal favorite pick for what I think you're looking for would be Jaleo: http://www.jaleo.com/ Hot and cold tapas, sangria or wine, sharing small plates with friends so you all get to try a little bit of everything... and the atmosphere is friendly and sort of party-ish Here's some pics of the downtown one: http://www.jaleo.com/downtown.htm The dishes are well-described so you can try lots of new things without leaning too far into "weird" - lol This place is a great one for hanging out, nibbling and sipping for just hours on end and enjoying being out with friends.
Cafe Divan is really great and very inexpensive- nice ambiance, great food- Happy birthday!!Cool restaurant/bars in Georgetown DC?
I love News Cafe in Georgetown - VERY cool atmosphere.

Hmm, if you're wedded to Georgetown proper, maybe Bangkok Joe's? The food is okay, not wonderful though.

I've heard Neyla is fun for drinking, though I've never been there. They have mediterranean/middle eastern food, and it's less expensive than Mie N Yu.

You might have to have dinner, and then go drinking somewhere else if you want to fulfill all your criteria but in Georgetown bars are around every corner so it shouldn't be too hard to find.
