Great restaurant in Washington DC? MUST HAVE VIEW OF POTOMAC RIVER?

Looking for recommendations for a restaurant in Wash DC for dinner on a Friday night. Am traveling solo for business - trying to pick a place for a nice dinner before I hop the plane and come back. Staying at the Williard InterContinental - looking for a restaurant that has tables with a view of the Potomac and the menu is delicious!

If you are recommending a place - please also advise what you have tried there (i.e. your fav dish ordering there) - as much description of ambiance is appreciated as well.

I would expect cost to run me in the $20-$40 range for the main entree.

Thanks, in advance, for your suggestions!Great restaurant in Washington DC? MUST HAVE VIEW OF POTOMAC RIVER?
Well...my answer would be Tony %26amp; Joe's in Washington Harbor. It's fairly convenient to the Willard. Frankly there are other restaurants in the Harbor...but the view is spectacular.

Stay away from the Waterfront...they are tourist dives. One final choice...Chart House in Old Town Waterfront is probably the best restaurant views of all the places. A little further...no more than 15 bucks by cab...but quaint and gorgeous setting.

All steaks are great...no disappointments. See food is ok too!Great restaurant in Washington DC? MUST HAVE VIEW OF POTOMAC RIVER?
