EDIT1: @BW: Yeah I know most of those are expensive but she gave no price rang or style like you said except for ROMANTIC which is what I listed for restaurants (ROMANTIC Restaurants to be exact).

EDIT2: Another place that is around 20$ is Sweet Water Tavern. Its in the Maryfield Area but its like the same food you get at T.G.I.Fridays, Chillies, Applebees, or similer but with a fancy Resteraunt type place and can be crouded.

EDIT3: One last place to try is Maggionos (or however you spell it) at Tyson's Corner 2 Mall. It Semi Italian with a 20-30$ price rang but the portions are for like 2 1/2 - 3 people.

EDIT4: Or try Woa La Oak in Tyson's Corner Area. It's Asian cooking right at your table but not of Japanese Stakehouse like cooking. Portions of size to share, around 13-19$ an entree and 20-30$ for two part entree. What is a good romantic restaurant for a V-Day dinner in the Northern VA/DC area?
I live at the Reston Town Center %26amp; there are some great restaurants there:

Passion Fish is amazing if you like seafood %26amp; very romantic as well.

Mon Ami Gabi is a French Bistro that has something for everyone and is offering roasted lobster for Valentine's.

You didn't mention a budget or any particular foods that you like/dislike. Most of the ones that Robert S posted are EXPENSIVE.

Personally, I like Firefly. It has great ambience, is cozy but not overly intimate, and the food is usually quite good. They usually have a variety of seafood, vegetarian, and meat dishes cooked in different styles. It's American, but slightly adventurous. The wait staff is also attentive. You might spend around $20 on an entree there. I have taken many guests there and they have always enjoyed it thoroughly.

If this isn't what you have in mind, and you don't want to spend $50+ a plate, post some additional details for more personalized suggestions.

Have fun!
