What is a restaurant near Washington DC that has country-style food (similiar to Cracker Barrel)?

Specifically I am looking for someplace that has good chicken and noodles or chicken and dupplings. What is a restaurant near Washington DC that has country-style food (similiar to Cracker Barrel)?
You can try Oohhs and Aahhs: http://www.washingtonian.com/restaurantr鈥?/a> They're one of the best for southern/soul food but I don't recall if they have Chicken and Dumplings on the menu. They're closed on Sundays and Mondays but you could call on Tuesday...

Florida Ave Grill: http://www.roadfood.com/Reviews/Overview鈥?/a> Same thing. Some of the best southern/soul food, but not sure if that's on the menu. They've been there since 1944 so the place is really good - lol

There's nothing like that at the big dog restaurants... not anything that hasn't been mauled by them trying to jazz it up 12 notches (B Smith, Vidalia, Georgia Brown's etc) so you have to go to the Southern "greasy spoon" type places to get the good stuff. Guaranteed to raise your cholesterol...
If you're looking for a chain type place, there is a Bob Evans in Springfiled, just off I-95 at Old Keene Mill. What is a restaurant near Washington DC that has country-style food (similiar to Cracker Barrel)?
I LOVE Cracker Barrel (mostly for breakfast). There is one in in Manassas (off of Battleview Parkway - exit off of Rte. 66) and there is a Bob Evans in Springfield VA (near the Mall)

Happy eating!
I love Georgia Brown's (in downtown DC). Some of it is "jazzed up," but mostly it is traditional Southern food made with the best ingredients. It's pricier than Cracker Barrel, but great for a night out.
