Where should i take my girlfriend for our 1 year to eat in washington DC?

i dont wanna go anywhere to fancy a nice place though like the equivalent to olive garden or red lobster but something not as generic like a restaurant in DC that would be equally as nice as one of those please help!Where should i take my girlfriend for our 1 year to eat in washington DC?
Just take her to the Olive Garden and be done with it. Anywhere else and you will simply pay more money for food that is less delicious.
How about Zorbas? http://www.washingtonian.com/restaurantr鈥?/a>

I'd suggest Potenza, jaleo, Levante's, or Churchkey.
Take her to Ruth Chris Steak House at Reagan National Airport and watch the planes take off and land.

The food is great and the service fantastic.

Any restaurant in DC is going to be more expensive than an olive garden or red lobster... I would recommend going somewhere in Arlington, VA. The neighborhoods of Rosslyn, Clarendon, Courthouse, etc. all have a lot of great restaurants that would be cheaper. There's a Cheesecake Factory in Clarendon, Harry's Tap Room, Facia Luna, Whitlow's on Wilson, etc. Also, P.F. Chang's and Rio Grande Cafe in Ballston are both really good. Clarendon is a probably your best bet though as it has a high concentration of restaurants, a more vibrant night life, etc.
