Has anyone been to Acadiana Restaurant in Washington DC and is it any good?

It's awesome! Sunday Brunch is incredible.... and many of the same dishes are served on the regular dinner menu. I've never had the nerve to try the turtle soup, but the crab soup and gumbo are both terrific as well as the fried green tomatoes. The pie trio is also a great appetizer...

I've tried every entree except for the gumbo I think... because I don't eat oysters - lol and while I'm not a big fan of duck, THIS duck is worth the trip into town! You can't go wrong with any of the desserts either and they have a decent wine list, reasonably priced.

Explore it a bit and take the plunge: http://www.acadianarestaurant.com/index2鈥?/a>Has anyone been to Acadiana Restaurant in Washington DC and is it any good?
It's good - neuvo New Orleans - get some crawfish and a poor boy. Maybe not top tier, but worth a night out for something a bit different.Has anyone been to Acadiana Restaurant in Washington DC and is it any good?
Yes, many times. Good New Orleans food. One day per wk, they have red beans %26amp; rice, and its spicy. Really like the BBQd oysters on the half shell. The bisquits with pepper jelly butter are addicting.
