I'll be going to DC for a weekend and was just wondering if places generally allow dogs. I was in Montreal recently, and they actually allow dogs in clothing stores, dept stores, etc. (Just not restaurants). She's about 25 lbs, and doesn't pee or poop unless shes outside (she doesn't like people watching!)How dog friendly is Washington DC?
Very. As Harry Truman so brilliantly said: "If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog". Obviously he meant more than "Washington is a great place to own a dog!" but an endorsement from a President has to mean something!
