A question about a station in Washington DC?

I went there a while ago, and I was at an old train/subway station, now a food court/market. There was a beautiful poem inscribed on the front of the building. The inside had a very tall, curved ceiling, with a circular restaurant in the middle. Does anyone know what this station is called, because I want to get a copy of that poem.A question about a station in Washington DC?
The building is called Union Station. It is the original train station, back in the days when train travel was a primary mode of transportation across the nation. The food courts are on the lower level. The main portion of the station is above ground and is breathtaking. There is a restaurant in the center, but there are also other restaurants on this level, along with shops. The upper story features many shops and boutiques.

Hope you'll come visit us again sometime! You can take both Metro and Amtrak trains from Union Station to just about anywhere in the continental US.A question about a station in Washington DC?
Are you talking about Dupont Circle? The metro there comes up to a fountain with a circular green, surrounded by tons of restaurants and hippies. Here's the full poem:

...but only an excerpt is carved at into stop. I like Walt Whitman a lot.

Peace.
