If you're still in the DC area, there's a winery in Maryland called Linganore which carries Tej (I don't believe they make it, just carry it.).
http://www.linganore-wine.com/
In the website, they also list area retailers that carry their wines, so you may not have to trek all the way out to the winery...although they have free tastings so it could be worth the trip.
Ironically, if I recall correctly, I think that at the winery they mispronounce the wine "tezh"Where can I purchase tej wine (honey wine) online?
I have never purchased from this place, but you can try the Lakewood Vineyards at http://www.lightlink.com/oenoman/seifus-鈥?/a>
