Looking for restaurant recommendations for DC Area?

I'll be visiting DC/Alexandria in a few weeks. Anyone have recommendations for a nice place for a Sunday brunch? Also, dinner? Maybe overlooking the water? Thanks.Looking for restaurant recommendations for DC Area?
central michel richard is really good for dinner.
Ted's Bulletin (Capitol Hill), Chef Geoffs (15th Street), Tabbard Inn (Dupont), and Kramerbooks and Afterwards (Dupont), are excellent brunch spots. Alexandria has some sweet spots as well, but steer clear of the waterfront -- good views, but tourist traps as far as food goes. For Brunch in Alexandria, try Columbia Firehouse. Reservations ahead of time in all of the above (if they take them), help, especially with the ridiculously popular Tabbard Inn -- best in DC.

For Dinner in Alexandria, Restaurant Eve (pricey), Brabo (Pricey) are good, but Columbia Firehouse again, is nice. For dinner in DC, Two Amys has incredible pizza, DC Coast is famous for the seafood, and Founding Farmers has a great thing going. The various restaurants on the Georgetown waterfront are also decent, and it's a nice setting.Looking for restaurant recommendations for DC Area?
I would recommend a lunch cruise on the Odyssey--leaves from Maine Avenue in DC. You will see much of DC and Alexandria from the water. Good food, perhaps a band or music. Deck to walk around. Very upscale. Men should wear a tie and maybe sportcoat. Nightime is good in the summer but it gets dark too early this time of year to see much.
