Im looking for some really nice restaurants in DC that are $20 and under per person. It is for my SWEET 16 in about a month, so please let it be an amazing restaurant. everything on this menu is less than $15/pp and there are some great selections, including the famous palena roast chicken; it takes 45 minutes, but everyone raves about it when they finally get to dive into it. also of note: the beautifully executed cheese plate.

Honey, you are not going to get sophisticated for under $20 a person. Not in Washington, DC, and probably not anywhere. And many of the restaurants around Metro Center are either ridiculously expensive or cheap little fast food spots. I'm sorry, I can't help you, but you are asking for the impossible.
