As a chef, restaurantuer, and former Washingtonian..the answer is business casual. The day does not matter. That can be broadly interpereted, so, NICE jeans and a sweater, jacket %26amp; slacks, or the ever favorite, jacket,jeans %26amp; loafers. I think that something like a blazer and a nice pair of pants is casual enough, no tie
